about

The album was produced and mixed by both John DeNicola and Ray Weiss.

Bleenex was recorded and mixed over the course of a month at Jake's Kitchen Sink Recording Studio in NYC. The album is based off 11 tracks done in Ray's room (I am Nexicron) over the course of a week. All the songs on the record are completely original works with the exception of the line, "Oprah, you slave child, behave yourself" from the song Hindenburg, which was taken from a fellow inmate at St. Vincent's Psychiatric ward in Westchester. Ray Weiss plays all the instruments on the album with the exception of the tracks marked with an, (*) which indicates that the talented Matthew Gaffney is playing main drums. Booking and contacting are available through rucyrius@mac.com

Without certain people, this project could have never happened. I would like to thank John Denicola, Ollie Byrd, Ben Shapiro, Matt Gaffney, Max Kagan, Alan Zahn, Ray Cervenka, The Rats of Nimh, The So So Glo's, Todd P, and all the various people over the internet that have expressed extraordinary interest in my work. Releasing this album is the pinnacle of my 19-year-old existence.
I hope you enjoy.
